• Suitable Engraver

Can anyone recommend a suitable and value for money engraver. We would mainly be engraving the backs of medals and the small plates you see on trophies etc. I was thinking down the lines of the Roland Metaza MPX80 but am unsure if it will work on things such as medals.

    Darren.

    Hi Darren
Apologies for late reply. As no one else has replied I will. Yes I am biased, but my reputation is worth more than a quick sale of a Metaza, so I will give you honest information. The Metaza will do this kind of work very well but it is limited to small items. It has a vice which will hold most medals fine and a rubber mat which grips trophy plates. It will also do many other corporate gift products such as pens, trinket boxes and hip flasks. If you are not in a hurry, you can see all engraving suppliers at Trophex in January – http://www.trophex.com/
