Sublimation Beer Glasses
I’ve been asked to do some beer glasses (with handles).
Are there any types that people recommend? Preferably that fit in a standard mug press….
Are there any techniques that people have adopted that improve success? I’m concerned about getting a design to print that will work well and that glass doesn’t like being heated and I’m afraid I might crack the glass!

Glass products tend to be a bad conductor of heat, so to print onto glass without cracking the item you need to introduce the heat more gradually. We have suggested taking the temperature of the mug press down to 150 – 160 degrees and pressing for closer to 4 minutes. This seems to work better. If you press at 180 degrees then you are likely to crack the mug/ glass due to the shock of the high temperature.
