    Hi All,

Is there any regulations for erecting street name signs, on and off private property. Basically, is there any? I have a customer that has private access roads and wants to put up the road name.

    Thanks in advance

we’ve installed a number of street name plates in the past on private property, and as far as I know, each authority seems to have it’s own design for street name plates, although I believe that there is now a central government leaflet giving general guidelines on where and how all types of signage fit into the general street scene, and any restrictions.

Personally, if I had the Landlords permission to supply and fit this type of sign, as long as the layout and design is a good match with other signs in the area, I’d just fit it.

You may get more information for this company who make these type of signs.
