Storefront window vinyl – outside or inside?
Do you all have opinions on using vinyl window lettering on the inside or outside of the glass? I would think inside would wear better, but lose the vibrancy it would have outside. Would welcome advice from you experts [emoji4]

Good point. Where in the UK can I get vinyl of that type, and what’s it commonly called?

Printed, or coloured cad film?
If printed, just print on a clear vinyl, mirror the image, and then flood coat with a white vinyl (make sure it’s not a grey back vinyl)
Cut vinyl lettering, just mirror it and cut as usual.
Whether to fit inside or out, one thing to consider is what’s inside the shop, or you could find yourself moving entire shop counters & displays so you have access to the windows.

Sadly, the best solution is inside.
I say sadly because it’s usually some much quicker and easier to stick on the outside and as David says, sometimes the access to the inside can be a nightmare.
Inside is a more professional finish however IMO.

Tend to just let the customer decide.
If it’s straight forward enough or a good customer it’s same price.If it’s got a bench hard up against it, a window display of a 1000 things which despite being told to be clear for the time we are coming never is or a really damp/moisture filled place I tend to up the quote for inside.
Watch for the sun if really hot and your inside. Gave myself heat stroke once doing a Jamaican restaurant once. Had cancel rest of days jobs. Was only at window for half hour. It was rough.

Wait what, half an hour and you had to cancel work?
I did this on my own in 2 days. Windows were 1600 deep and all spot lettering was put on first then floated in red, 60ish windows in all.
Was middle of summer, around 25 degrees.
