    Hi All,

Just a quick question about galvanised roller shutter doors. A potential customer has requested some lettering (NO PARKING) to go on his roller shutters. Will a normal vinyl stick to galvanised steel? I guess I’ll have to scotch pad the surface to clean it up a little though. The roller shutter isn’t particularly old so it’s not falling apart.

With regards to the slats, do you reckon I fit normal lettering and trim once in position? Or cut the lettering with gaps to allow for the shutter to roll up?

    Thanks

    Adam

Trim after applied angle your blade so you cut on the edge of each slat so you dont have to seat the vinyl into the gap, whic will no doubt have some dirt in it, no problems with galvanised as long as its clean
