Please can anyone point me in the direction of a company that supplies stencil cutting films similar to Ruby film.

We do a fair bit of screen printing and use quite a lot of Ruby film at present, and would like to see if there are any cheaper alternatives.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Nick, you could try NCB Marking equipment (01531 640 400) don’t know if they’ll have what you’re looking for – or be cheaper, though.

Mactac do a great product (or did) called black posi mask

To be honest I’m not sure how it compares in price but it weeds more like a vinyl than a film

We used it for years to make our our posis until we got an Epson printer

APA do a black stencil film it’s quite a bit thicker and more user friendly than ruby film.

Thanks Fred. Have you got any contact details for them.

A google search gives many results, but no film suppliers
