Steam removal of reflective vinyl
Hi guys, thought ill share this experience with you.
We had to remove some Reflective vinyl stripes, we had fitted the wrong way.
Tried to peel (it was only 2 days since fitting) with no luck, and of cause we tried to heat with a heatgun, but that just broke the vinyl into tiny bits.As a last resort we tried a newly purchased (90 dollars) steam wallpaper remover with nozzle.
MAN! that really worked, with alot of patience tho’
– and the steam vaporize and leave the surface completely clean….

cool, i’ve got an old ambulance that needs all it’s reflective replacing to do soon, think i’ll go hire a hi-pressure steam washer!
