• START UP EQUIPMENT WANTED

    HI SANDY HERE. FED UP OF DOING ACCOUNTS FOR MY BOYFRIENDS WINDOW BLIND BUSINESS AND LOOKING TO START IN SIGNS. ABSOLUTE BEGINNER. REQUIRE PLOTTER, SOFTWARE (PREFERABLY COMPOSER), EDGE MACHINE, SMALL CNC ROUTER. GOOD MACHINES WANTED, LIMITED SET UP CAPITAL. CAN YOU HELP?

    Hi Sandy, your in the right place for advices this lot know everything.
    Its alot of cash to set up into signs, the cutter the vinyl stock software etc. and loads of little stuff you didnt think about that end up costing more than the big things. But go for it I dont think you’ll look back!

    If you are an absolute beginner, your list of proposed equipment sounds rather ambitious from a learning point of view. Not only in terms of operating it all but applying the knowledge required for that range of products. Do you really intend to go in at such a level or are you intending to start off with a vinyl cutter and work your way up over time?

    thats sorta were i was going mate.. i thought, good, shes taking the right approach but thought all that kit and the learning curve would be a bit daunting if new to the trade 😮

    are there any particular reasons on choosing this machinery/equipment sandy?

    THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERN. I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED MY COUSIN HAS MADE ALL TYPES OF SIGNAGE FOR 16 YEARS AND IS GOING TO BE MY MENTOR HE EXPLAINED THAT THE EQUIPMENT I HAVE MENTIONED WOULD ALLOW ME ACCESS TO A LARGER SPECTRUM OF WORK.
