Standoff Letters on a pebble dash wall ?
Been asked to provide standoff letters signage on a pebble dash wall.
I know its just about impossible to drill the standoofs in the correct place as the pbbles always divert the drill.
customer does not want a visible backing plate or acrylic stripe which i’ve seen used so how do others address this probloem?cheers

Use a 9mm MDF template with the holes pre-drilled in the right place.
Attach this to the wall temporarily, and drill through the holes into the pebbledash.
The holes will keep the drill bit in the right place and prevent it from slipping sideways or chattering while you drill.Simon.
