Hi all, not sure if anybody can help. We have been asked by 2 of our largest customers to sign up to a SSIP scheme (Safety Schemes In Procurement) if we are to carry on supplying them. Can anybody recommend a particular scheme which is suited to sign makers. It all seems very confusing and mostly geared towards the construction trade with lots of different schemes. Any experience and advice on this would be great. Thanks in advance, Ryan

I received this letter last year saying if i wished to continue supplying goods to my customer i had to join this federation. I filed the letter to see if they chased me. That was about 10 months ago, i still do work almost weekly for this company so will wait until they contact me again if ever. I really don’t see the point of paying to be a member of a federation just to keep one customer, but as i said I’ve not heard back from them
