  • Square Edges Cut Rounded/Skewed – what setting to change?

We have a DGI Omega OM-60 24 and use Illustrator with CoCut to send jobs to cut.

Recently it’s not been cutting properly, most noticeably on small letters. For example on a letter ‘o’ it will start ok, cut around the outside but instead of finishing where it started the cut will come in too sharply and not meet the point where it started. Also, the edges of squares are coming out rounded.

I know I’m not explaining this that well but I know there is a setting we can adjust called pinch/skew/pin or something same as you get when adjusting old CRT computer monitors. Thing is I cant remember if this is done through CoCut or on the machine itself or what it is called.

Anyone know the proper name for what I’m trying to describe and whether it’s adjusted on on the Cutter or in CoCut?

    Thanks.

Its the blade offset – find it in help or the manual to figure out what way to go

Perfect, thank you. Will tell them up at Production to have a look for that.
