Hi Brian,
The tips and tricks section has a demo on spraying on vinyl and list some paints for this use. See Colour Blends onto Vinyl by: Robert Lambie.
Never tried painting on vinyl myself – yet.

Hi Brian
We used a acrylic auto spray on the vinyl on our vehicle and it still looks as good as new a year later
We used a scourer or it could have been fine wire wool and then gave it a good clean and just spayed away

Thanks paul….as i said im doing flames is it best to do the spraying before i weed it?
-
Yes
You cut it
Tape it down to a board to keep it flat
Spray it
Have a cup of tea/coffee
Weed it
Leave it for a bit to dry
Applicate it
Apply it
Walk around with a bit of a smug grin on yer face for the rest of the day 😎

Thanks Paul…..great advice….a beer would be better…but its during the day still never mind ill have one now (drink1)
Ps Paul i was just a bit worried that the apli tape would take the paint off

Just do some experimentation
also, I tend not to apply so much pressure when putting the app tape on but I’ve never had a problem.

just my 6p worth i would have thought you would have to start with yellow vinyl and add the other colours i cant see yellow paint on to red vinyl working- plus also only 1 cup of tea in Paul’s time table the work force would walk out 😀
