    Hi All

i have just got a file off a customer and it is made up of lots of black parts and i need to make all the black parts a spot colour for versa works to print them jet black, but it will take me forever to change each bit!
Is there an easy way to change all the black bits to a spot colour in one go?

    Thanks Neil

    What software are you using?

Illustrator has options where you can select the parts, and recolour them all the same.

Can you convert the existing colour to a spot, then change the colour mix to that of the roland spot?

I’m no help then I don’t use corel.

Illustrator has the option to select an object, then in the select menu, choose all with the same fill & Stroke.

    Using Corel 12 here:
    Edit/Find and Replace/Replace Object…

You can select a colour and change to another colour. Just follow the wizard. Works a treat in this version.
