Hi guys, not worked with matt much over the years but when i have it seems to mark easily with a felt squeegee.

I have a trailer to cover with avery 800 monday. Matt black. Any special ideas to prevent marks? app tape isnt an option.

I believe spraying the face with water helps but thats all i got.

Would using a slip sheet be practical?

We’ve wrapped a van with a dead matt, it’s like chalk board vinyl. Heat gun on any smooth, or shiney marks removed them.

You can wet the felt of the squeegee also

I always keep a tin of Matt Black paint handy. A quick dab with a paintbrush and Voila..any shiny black areas or stretched white areas dissapear in a jiffy.

Also handy for touching up door returns and difficult to reach areas such as under the door handles :awkward:
