    They can look great in the right location and shop front.

    I always remember the first place I saw a shimmer. must be about 30 years ago now because I was still a sign apprentice in Glasgow city centre and there was a casino with a shimmer sign on Sauchiehall street.

    That stuff is really effective over a large area, like the whole side of a building. I remember a huge soft drink advert in Picadilly Circus was the first time I ever saw it. When the wind caught it it shimmered across the face in waves. Quite spectacular. It doesnt work in quite the same way on a smallish shop fascia, but it still looks good.

    I have seen large scale versions of these types of signs before in Birmingham and as you say Simon, they are impressive blowing in the wind. 👍

    How nice an effect is this?

    i am sat here thinking how I could use this product with what I do. even for stage backdrops. for indoor work it really just needs a small fan directed towards it to create this shimmer effect, or am I wrong?
