    Hi there.
    I’m hoping some can help.
I’ve a sp540v , fitted with new heads & using Roland Eco Solvent ink.
I bought this machine as a cadet & had it refurbished, by a reputable service engineer.
I’ve printed a few jobs, banners, stickers, etc. & always thought it was a little dark. But now I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s printing far too dark, every time. As any work I try to print, especially a gradient, prints a lot darker.
I’ve contacted Roland & they suggest I alter some ink percentage settings in Versa works. My service engineer, tells me not to alter anything!! He’s away on holiday at the moment….
I’ve tried different profiles, it makes no difference !!
Does anyone know why it should always print darker ?
    Thanks
    Roger

It does sound RIP related if I’m honest. Do you have access to any other RIP software?
