sp540v flashing for all ink cartridges at once? help please.

we did our Monday morning manual clean as per normal, but as we finished the screen was flashing and beeping for all four inks to be changed, and we cant seem to remove this? Can anyone help?thanks

may be a cart sensor error i would remove and refit the carts carefully, unless you already have done that, switch it off completely and restart.
last thing you want mon morn.

thanks Chris, have taken them out put them back in with power on and power off, but cant seem to shift this!!

Hi Dan,
Have you managed to fix your issue yet?
It could be that your black in is playing up, are you using 3rd party cartridges? Try changing the black if you have spare as a check, or simply cleaning the bottom of the cart- perhaps using an alcohol based cleaner to wipe the chip. The machine reads from the black first so make sure that all is well there as a starting point!

Cheers Joe will try wiping the chips with alcohol and see if that works, I do have a spare black so can try that too. Will let you know.

Thanks Joe! wiping with alcohol has worked we are now reading the carts again and can print! (as soon as black cart wiped problem solved! have wiped the others just in case afterwards! Also Roland eco sol max carts all originals)Very grateful!!

Bizarre – read this post yesterday, then came in this morning to clean my versacamm and had the same error meassage during cleaning. Luckily i knew what to do – whipped the black out quick wipe with alcohol and bingo all up and running in seconds
