  • Sourcing brilliant white car wrapping vinyl – help please?

    Hi everyone!
This is really interesting. A customer asked for a crisp white gloss wrap. I ve checked all my colour swatches and all of the vinyls have slight creamy shade when you compare them to a blank sheet of paper. The only close match i found is Avery 700 series gloss white but unfortunately its not suitable for vehicles. Any suggestions?

an issue you need to check regardless of what wrapping film you use is the colour it is once applied to the vehicle.
grey adhesive etc helps, but what you need to do is stick a patch of vinyl on the car and then look at the colour. NOT when its on the swatch. if your cars black and you stick the likes of that Avery 700 onto it, it will no longer be the same colour i can assure you. further more its obviously NOT a wrapping film. i know a great many companies use Cast cadcam vinyls to wrap but they are doing nothing but short changing the customer and long term damage to the wrapping industry on the whole.
anyway, do not go by a swatch until its stuck on the car.
