Some one to watch applying vinyl graphics
Hello
Is there anyone that can help me as I’m quite new to this i was hoping if there was anyone in newton abbot that would not mind if i could spend a couple of days with them so i could pick up a few more tips & tricks in the trade as on some jobs i have done i seem to get little air bubbles but reading the last few listings hopefully i will over come this problem (find out tomorrow.lol) But i am very keen to watch some one else doing a couple of jobs to help me a bit.

Michael I am not sure that you will actually learn a lot from watching someone else. There are some good tutorials about which will explain the basic principles about cleaning, different ways of hinging and applying. If you have watched some of these the best way to learn is to make yourself up some samples. It really just comes down to practice, the more you practice the better you will become. I’m not saying you shouldn’t watch other signmakers but just feel you will learn more just practicing yourself and you also won’t pick up anyone elses bad habits !!!

Hi Michael, Im also self taught and being doing it for four years i always use water depending on the weather of course, I dap it on making sure its in the right place and work from the middle out both ways and this works for me proventing air bubbles hope this helps?????

Im sure if you let everyone know where your based, some one will be willing to let watch, or even be a spare pair of hands for a couple of days.
only repeating what most others will say, but it will all come with practice.

I have tried many new things today i was told about TACK RAGS any ideas on that and sorry and know a lot of people have been doing this a Long time but i cant stand using water or any wet applying all i do is dry and two pairs of hands.lol.ITs just the little bubbles that get me as iv done a few jobs now and they look great until you see these.The m3 gold squeegees does any one know where i can get these from?
