Some of my recent work.
Posted by Jill Marie Welsh on 26 March 2009 at 15:36It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything like this so here goes.
Who says our economy is poor?
I have been very busy.
This is a mix of logo design, painted stuff, and vinyl stuff.

Love the Kimco business cards Jill.
Does "Plowed" have the same sexual innuendo in the US as it does in the UK? If so, genius!! lol
-
Thanks.
The Kimco is what I am working on today.
Couldn’t ask for a nicer client.
The funny thing is he is from my old neighborhood, but he didn’t live there when I did.
And yes, plowing has the same alternative meaning here!
The guy works with my son, he also has T shirts which say the same thing. -
nice work Jill lovely to see traditional stuff, I must have missed something in my up bringing cause I thought plowing meant just that, either moving snow or turning earth over 🙄

Excellent Jill. Your work has a certain style that is recognisably yours. I think if I’d seen the pictures without knowing who had done it I would have guessed it was you 😀

Great work Jill……I agree with Phil, I think I would recognise your work without a name to it
Can you explain the Elvis logo to me though? 😳
-
Thanks.
I think I have a recognizable style as well.
Mediocre! Ha!
The TCB thing means Taking Care of Business.
Elvis (I think) gave out necklaces with that charm to his trusted compadres. He even had it emblazoned on the tail of his private jet.
This was for a man who met his wife at the drive-in when an Elvis flick was showing. -
Great work there Jill, I really like to see this type of great work and craftsmanship (craftswomanship 🙄 )

Careful now, you’ll swell my head.
I do appreciate the comments.
Here’s Kimco’s card with changes made.
I need to straighten out his contractor #.
He wanted a darker yellow.
I am not a big fan of red with black.
I am going to trade truck lettering with him in exchange for his making me two new parking spaces out front. -
Jill love your work, all the signs make you want to read them !!
Thanks for showing. -
