    Hi all

    Hope all is well

im currently having a problem printing wall graphics

were trying to print at a height of 2.2 meters in 4 parts so a total wall size of 2.2 meters by 5 meters. we are then mounting to 3mm foamex

im tiling the artwork in verse-works and struggling to get the panels to marry up. they are out as far as 3 mm in places from length to length

we cant narrow down if its the printer or even possibly the laminator?

if any one has had a similar problem any help would be much appreciated

    kind regards

    Martin

could be the vinyl stretching during fitting.
are you laminating the prints straight to the foamex or applying by hand?

This is a common problem I have never been able to work out a solution to.
There always needs to be a bit of fudging to line up panels.

A lot of things factor into it.

    Temperature in your print room.
    Humidity.
The weight of the roll as the media is reduced on the roll.

I have an XC and an XJ and the media handling on the XJ is a lot better in terms of tracking and pull etc.
