Solar Power for Monolith Sign
Hi All, I need to find a supplier who can supply a solar powered lighting system for a monolith sign we are to install. It is simply to power some spot lights but not sure who to use.
Any recommendations would be appreciated thanks

is the solar-powered a customer stipulation, or no other power option, Warren?
I ask because “spotlights” at the power I think you need, will require a fair bit of power within a 12 hour period and UK weather doesn’t really help matters with regards to solar.I recently looked at sourcing some basic solar-powered traffic signs. in short, they cost a lot of money in comparison to what I expected and I did expect to pay a premium, but still…

Hi Rob, yes customer request, the a University and want as much “green” items as possible so think they will be prepared to pay but just trying to find somebody to supply and install for us. There is currently power there although it’s road side and a 1/4 mile from the premises, there’s lots of space for a few panels so thought more panels would help, the panels don’t have to be on the sign and can be installed nearby but they do want a green solution which is why they asked for solar.
