Solar Graphics : Various 2012 Work
Posted by Adrian Neill on 20 December 2012 at 13:11Hi everyone !!
It’s a shame that we don’t get much time to post on here regularly, but thought i’d make the effort seeing as it’s nearly Christmas n’all that.
The following is a small selection of what we’ve been getting up to this year.

Hi Adrian
Kinda curious myself as to how you created the Jigsaw Rsearch sign.
Is it clear raised acrylic stand off letters with transparent colour tinted films applied or a print?
ive looked at the picture but sorta looks more like transparent films as the letters seem to have a bit of dimension to them. looks great none the less…
put me out my misery please? 😉 :lol1:

Hi Rob.
Sorry for the delayed response, trying madly to keep up with the xmas/new year rush !!
Glad you all like the signs. We did like the JIGSAW one too. Looked great in the flesh. The picture above really doesn’t do it justice.
The main ‘JIGSAW’ part is produced from a one piece laser-cut 10mm thick clear acrylic. The coloured letters were then reverse printed onto clear and applied to the rear of the panel. This was then backed in solid white. Some small bespoke spacers were used to fix the panel to the wall.
The text beneath was simply laser-cut, sprayed and flat adhesive fixed to the wall.
The customer was VERY happy with the end result. This was the email we received back :
“I just wanted to say thank you for the sign which was fitted today. It looks amazing and everyone keeps commenting on how great it is (even those that weren’t keen on the logo to begin it)! Some people even said it looks good enough to eat because it looks like hard boiled sweets!?”
It’s nice to get some appreciation from the client.
