Hello everyone! I am really new in business, I just bought Cutter Lidar LD-700, It comes with Artcut05 sofware, but I don’t like it, because I can’t import file from illustrator Cs. I draw using illustrator Cs.
Is there any other cutting sofware that can import file from illustrator cs and which also support my cutter LD-700?
    thank you

try saving your files from CS as illustratot version 3, I use the same software and have no problem importing file from CS1 or CS2.

Also are you opening the file or importing it into your software, I guess you should be using import or place, usually NOT open.

Hi, thank you for the reply.
I just tried it now but the lines still corrupt.
    What I did is:
    1. export to illustrator legacy EPS and click SAVE
    2. another windows pop up called "legacy EPS option" come up and I choose
    version: illustrator 3 EPS
    preview, Format: TIFF (8bit color)
    adobe postcript: language level 2
    3 Click OK
Did I do save the correct way?
    thank you

Think you need to be saving as illustrator legacy v3 NOT eps.

Also the file you are saving should end in .AI. And remember to import / place into your software.

You are only exporting the vector info, so the less info you are trying to get across the better.

at the top of this forum, there is a "Search the boards" thing… type ArtCut and press Go… some other people with Artcut with similar problems.
