Hi all hope were all busy.

Wonder if anyone one can shed a light for me. We use snapfix standoffs all the time. It as one side has to be glued to the letters is there an alternative where you can screw the male part of the standoff to the letters and also screw the female side to wall/panel. Reason I ask is we’re fitting some 19mm thick 700mm letters and due to the weight would be better to glue and screw the male standoff part to the back of the for added security.

    Regards

Yep – you can use brass stand offs the male (letter) part has a thread to screw into a hole in the letter. The female (wall) part is as per usual with a hole for a screw fixing. Much better lasting, but you don’t have as much tolerence so make sure to drill the wall accurately.

Various folks supply ’em; I’d be suprised if the folks you get your ‘normal’ stand offs don’t
