Can anybody give me ideas on costing for wrapping smart cars.

I’ve got 3 of in total to do for this customer of mine.

Customer says he’s been quoted £375 + vat each

To me thats taking the p*** !

What sort of price is the norm for this sort of work

    Thanks in advance

I’d walk away. we did one a couple of weeks ago for £1100. It took two experienced fitters 5 hours to complete, never mind the cost of the production and if any artwork to do. Let him go down the road if I were you, it sounds like a nice job but not for c*ap money,

    Thanks for that

I did think that it would be over the £1,000 mark

That right Rising, i’ve only helped a little doing one, they may be small but have loads of curves everywhere, £1000 each sounds right

personally i would still give him your price because you never know he may have just plucked that price from thin air so you would try to beat it.
I doubt seriously if anyone would wrap a smart car for that price and if they do theyd soon be out of business

    Is it a complete wrap?
We’ve done partial wraps using a high conformable cast on various vehicles that we’ve priced around £400 + VAT.
We haven’t yet done a full wrap as yet and are going on a course next week, however, I have been doing a few sums to work out how long we expect fitting to take and the cost of materials, printing etc before we start offering this service and would certainly be charging in the vicinity of the £1000 already posted by others.

I got a price for just doing the roof on a new mini and that was £150 to £200, so for a full wrap on a Smart Car would have to be anything from £800 – £1200.
