    Ello!

Sorry its been a while since I last posted, I’ve been hugely busy.

I’m looking for a small print and cut unit. I don’t really need anything wider than a normal a3 printer.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Chris

At 300mm wide – a gerber edge with the plotter might be an option.

Not the cheapest thing in the world to run for general stuff though.

Roland PC60 or PC600 is another option.

I know this might sound silly, but I’d have thought they used inks? not foils?

Can anyone elaborate for me a little?

If you find your dream machine (a3 print and cut)let us know, I dont know why, but none of the manufactures I know do one.
gerber and PC60/600 are foil, or better known as thermal printers

thermal printers like edges pc60 600 summa dc4 melt small bits of resin on to the vinyl. foils are single use only, – simplistic answer
