Hey guys, just posting a job up. Never used this much carbon before its the 1080 range and is awesome.. customer originaly wanted chrome, then chrome carbon.. which is in the Di Noc range, so advised against this.. and we decided to go with silver carbon. Looking forward to using it more!! 🙂

Looks great Ben, we had a Swatch of off Spandex yesterday and there’s some cool vinyls in the range.

Looks good so far Ben, sure you will post some more pictures when it’s finished, look forward to that.

Not quite sure why most of the suppliers say the material is textured so it is more like real carbon fibre. Carbon fibre is in fact very smooth & not textured at all :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

    looks great…
good idea to shy away from chrome carbon fibre…its okay in fairly flat areas but crap when wrapping bumpers…tried it myself.

I think that’s because it usually has a gel coat on it.

Wouldn’t be much good without it Jon :lol1:

I suppose in all fairness carbon cloth is textured but it wouldn’t be much good on it’s own without the resin.
