this bring up my print and cut manager i check print properties in here
to make sure they are the same sometimes different ?
    and go
however when i go to print again next job these settings change
any ideas what i am missing
i have set these up and went to print and noticed its only printing one way
too late to stop and set again
surely if i set it in my print manager this is how it should run regardless of how it is else where.

    Hi Derek,

The queue properties are largely used to configure settings had they not been included in the PostScript file being sent to the Print and Cut Manager. SignLab provides the necessary configuration settings from the Print and Cut Setup dialog. However, it is possible for the Print and Cut Manager to receive archived PostScript files, or print jobs from other design software or operating systems, in which case the queue properties are used to "fill in the blanks."

To send print jobs from SignLab, you generally want to configure your settings as follows:

    1. In SignLab, set the various Print and Cut Setup options, and then click Set Defaults button to fix the options.
    2. Note that your print and cut setting are saved in the CDL file. So when you go File menu >> Open, there is a Restore printer information checkbox that you use to explicitly restore the printer information stored within the CDL file.
    3. In the Print and Cut Manager, go Queue >> Properties >> General tab, and set "Always use default queue settings" = OFF.
    4. From the main Print and Cut Manager window, click the Stop Queue button.
    5. Return to SignLab and go File >> Print and Cut to send the job.
    6. In the Print and Cut Manager, right-click the job and choose Properties.
    7. The Job Properties will be displayed, which should correspond to what you set in SignLab.

    Cheers,
