  • Signlab and windows 7 are they compatible?

Posted by Denise Goodfellow on 23 December 2013 at 14:42

    Hi

We`ve added another printer and the computer we had to run it is sooooo slow and old.

We have always had computers made with XP on them, no one seems to want to get XP and keeps offering windows 7

Signlab will be the only rogram on the computer will windows 7 be OK

I`m sure I`ve heard of problems with it…

    Any advice?

I’ve been running Signlab on a Win 7 – 32bit machine for the last 4 years, currently with V9.1 and not had any issues. I came from a XP Pro machine and I much prefer Win7

Thank you for you`re reply Alan.

Am I limited to 32 bit or can I opt for 64 bit? As the builder suggests!

….. LOL I don`t even know what these bits are LOL 😳

Build 10 onwards is fully compatible with Win7 64bit, build 7.1 and below has issues with win7 32 & 64 bit.
    regards

The computer will only be used to run a mimaki, signlab is the latest build ( bought 2 weeks ago.) Apart from an internet connection, that will all it`ll be used for.

So a 64 bit computer will be ok? 😀

And just to make me look really thick, whats a "bit" LOL

Take your pick Denise, it’s either a 0 or a 1 lol, just to really throw you 8 bits make a byte :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
