we bought dvd’s on signlab 5rev12 when we bought it… that was pretty good but not sure if they still do them on higher versions but ide have thought they would.
rob ivors from the states also does signlab tutorials on dvd.
the thing is, after ver5 rev 12 there isnt much more to learn as far as cut vinyl tools are concerned. as it was on the switch to ver 6 they began adding the printing modules and various other add-ons. so if its just for cut vinyl the old videos are great. but from what i have seen the software has come a long way in other areas. -
Cadlink do training at their office in Hitchin (at a cost) there are no dvd’s for version 8.0 only the on-line tutorials. I think Walsall College maybe do training courses also?

Paul 🙂Sounds good but £400 is alot for 1 day.
I had a chat with Ray at the show and as usual within 5 minutes of talking to him I had learnt some great tips.
I would like to see a tutorial on building up the SL8 logo there are alot of different features used in it.

Thanks all for the replies. I have some plans for a days training with a Master, will let you know how it goes.

Hi Shaun
I think you are wright about the fee being high but do you not think it’s worth the £400.00 to be faster and know a lot more on how it all works, I was sure that a two day course was listed at some point and was a bit cheaper.
Rich
Who’s the master then ??? 🙄
-
Will let you know soon, not going to be for a while off to spain soon.
Thanks Rich
Paul never got time to chat !!!
will catch up soon mate -
Paul.
I know what you are saying, training like that is obviously an investment, but it would have to be a good course for that. They do run a 2 day course £690.

Shaun
Maybe some of the other Guy’s & Gal’s on the board have been and would like to let us know if it’s all it’s cracked up to be , was you thinking of taking the course at some point.
Paul 🙂

The website is a bit basic about the 3 different courses
A little more info on what is involved would be nice. so @ least you know what your paying for!

Hi Martin
Yes I think I may call them and see what the course covers.
Still busy I hope M8 nice to see you at the show.
All the best
Paul
