    Hello all.
Just wondering if there are many benefits to upgrading my Signlab 7.1 print n cut to Signlab 9. Seems to be so many types of Signlab nowadays since I first started with it…..v5 I think ? Mostly print solvent stuff from versaworks after designing in Illustrator but there really are some nice tools in Signlab but has it got any better or is it just tweeks. Also, what prices have any of you been paying for upgrades if you don’t mind me asking as I have had prices with £150 difference?

    Thanks for any help.

Gavin, signlab 9 has quite a few improvements,
but can be a bit problematic with colour profiles.
for print and cut, it has to be better than a design program, with a plug in for cutting.

I have wassach, and rasterlink, but find that Signlab takes less work to get the end result, print and cut are combined in one preview, and just one click to do either.
Why dont you down load the demo and try in yourself?
SL 9 now supports transparencies, which is its main upgrade from previous versions.

Impact are usually the most competitive for upgrades, give Brian a call
