haha, thanks hugh, yes im definitely keeping my prices in the right areas now with my work. Im not the most expensive, but not the cheapest. But it seems to be going well and customers with bigger budgets have meant i have turned out some nice signs recently and this is really improving my name and reputation. Any news on the vans??

HI Matt,

no word on the vans mate, wants two vans done by fri eve!! coulda done it, order today, cut morro, fit fri with both of us, but then realised the vans were black and he was talking about wrapping them, not vinyl, when i twigged i emailed to tell him no chance unless he wants me to apply onto the black, dunno why he didn’t buy white vans to start, i think the layout he wanted looked better on black anyways! told him to let me know 100% by 2pm so i have time to get the vinyl in for the job, no reply as yet, i shalln’t hold my breath!

anyways, as Jill says, the retreat is quite refreshing, i like the lemon tree too, very subtle in the background! you’re turning out some real nice work now. Like you say though, it’s a lot easier to use your imagination when the customer is prepared to spend a little more on a good job.
