  • Sign company Insurance options, who do you and why?

I’ve been on here before talking about insurance but I’m back at that point, unfortunately… I’ve put a call out to Sign Elite but they don’t seem keen or hopeful that we’ll get the policy we’re looking for.

I’m finding it incredibly difficult to find a policy that covers all the standard stuff (liability, contents, tools, hardware, stock) and a vehicle cover policy to work alongside it.

I can’t have the only company that needs a vehicle policy for several vehicles and several drivers, with the option of collecting and dropping customer vehicles.

Do any of you guys have a team of around 5 (2 directors and 3 employees) who has a similar setup and if so what policies do you have and who with?

All/any help and advice is much appreciated.

I am with sign elite… I’m not sure what you need that they can’t do..

I have “manufacturers combined” which is Public liability, plus contents, tools (on site, in van, in workshop etc.), printers, computers, machinery, vehicles while in the building / inside overnight etc. etc. etc.

Also Motor trade, tailored to us, two drivers. our van, customer vehicles, road risk to X amount with top up as required for motors over £50k.

      Thanks, Hugh.

Sounds interesting because Sign Elite tell me 5 drivers and 4 vehicles (plus customer vehicles) is too many.

Would you be prepared to PM me giving me an indication of what your premium is?

Mine last year for a similar setup to yours was £2600.

    Hi Carl

Like Hugh, we have drivers and vehicles insured, as well as drivers able to drive our customer’s vehicles, amongst many other things.
Early 2020 or 2019 I started pressuring our insurance broker of around 20+ years on what else I wanted to cover and they turned and advised me to consider switching to SignElite. Which I am sure is now who we use, also!

As I am on the council for ISA-UK, I can tell you I know a great many of its members who are also with them. I am surprised they have not been able to accommodate you, mate.
