    Hi there

I have chance to buy a Roland pc 60 to replace my little Graphtec Craft Robo which i use to cut out flock for T shirts and small letters. Will this machine do this I know it can print but what is the cutter like and what is the cutting area and will it cut small fonts.

    Cheers

    hi
the pc 60 is very good and in its element at cutting small lettering 3 -4 mm but is slow max cutting speed 200mm /sec and slower round curves.
most quality cutters do small stuff well when all is set correctly.
annoyingly the pc60 has problems with t shirt material , you lose the first 60 mm and because of the cassette carrier you can not watch it cutting to check depth etc.
max cut area approx 575 wide..
there are thermal print transfer materials some using wax some resin ribbons. and is where its print and cut facility comes in to its own.

mine is 11 years old and used reguarly but its days are numbered due to the difficulty of finding replacement print heads which are a consumable item at around £200 plus fitting.
unless very cheep and working probably pass.
