Just finished this today, all the panels were routed and folded by hand,
The original timber frame although a bit warped, was used.

Thats a lot of bending Peter 🙂

how did u join the bits together if you don’t mind me asking

3050 lengths x 630mm. I did consider making a join but they were rigid enough just to but together, screwed in place through top and bottom returns. The timber frame was 4 x 2 so was rigid as well.

Blimey Peter, thats well smart! 😀 Has that been done in a similar way to the Rich posted the other day?

Clean and simple design though, looks the business.

    Cheers, Dewi

    Thanks dewi
more or less like rich’s demo, but no end corners. the bit that does go round the corner was the hardest bit because the frame on the short side
of the building wasnt square with the front. It was done by a friend of the customer, to save money,

Must be a grey strip underneath giving the appearance of another panel fixed on top

I’m certainly going to have a go at routing and returns one of these days

Nice job Peter, I love using this material because the finished signs always look so good and its an easy material to work with. Trouble is most people don’t want to pay the extra money for a better quality material.

I’ve been bent on doing this for sometime
I suppose I just need to get the bit between my teeth and get on with it
