bus, also did a couple of nice correx (can i use nice and correx together ?) signboards for their show stand, and another on the side of the bus, ultimately both main bus signs were hidden by a marquee and another bus !

also another truck for whitemans, about the fifth i’ve done now, but a nicer design on this one !

here’s a couple more, forgot to take pics of the finished items, but here’s the designs anyways,

mgm, i know red/blue should never be mixed, but it just seemed to work in this case, sign is around 48" tall, and cut from 10mm foamboard.

archery… this was a set of mags i did, in fact, i think this was the first set of mags i did about 2-3 months back, done plenty since, but few with any real design in them !

    one more !

some of you may recall me asking about stensils for laurel and hardy, and the best way to make them, i successfully managed to ignore all advice 😳 😳 (first time.. honest) and ended up making them in the manner below, basically cut and weeded, and stuck onto a heavy card, scalpel at the ready…….

cheers Richard, i agree, its good to see others work, regarless of what it is, very often, even a imple job can provide that certain inspiration a job has been looking for !!

the V3 was there for scale really ! i cant say i didnt like the phone, my only dislike was after about 6mnths of heavy use, the battery wouldnt last a whole day, and the phone often just froze, though the design etc was ace. have to admit to going back to a nokia now though ! just alot more user friendly imho !

    thanks derek !

with the etch, once it’s taped into position (after initial positioning with mask tape, i usually use 2" wide selotape as it sticks better to glass), i make a hinge about 600mm from the rght hand end, peel pack, cut off the backing, and lay that first, then remove the hings and tape, and apply a couple of fet at a time til you reach the end, i always cot the thing too long by ading an extra 4" or so at each end, no surprises then !!

re 6230i, i was gonna get that, but the mrs has one and they dont do another colour, so to avoid mix ups i went for the 6234 (voda’s versio of the 6233i) which is the same spec, but with a 2mp camera and different styling, should be here mneday so i’ll post my opinions later !

Looks like you’ve been busy, Hugh!
I especially love Laurel & Hardy.
And the glass etch job looks really posh.
I like the other salon as well.
    love….jill

Nice etchings Hugh you done a good job.

Love the V3 style too but just can’t beat the Nokias for user friendly like you say, I am looking to upgrade just now but not sure what to get. I ain’t spending those three figures on the latest gadget though.
