Sherpa 43 question
Aloha,
We (Hawaii Pacific University) has been offered a donation of a Sherpa 43. It is relatively new and would be very hard to pass up. However, I’m finding it difficult to get some basic information on this printer (proofer) as the manuals have been misplaced.
Our intended use is for the printing of posters and banners. My question is regarding the print drivers and software necessary for printing on this unit.
Can anyone tell me if special software is required to interface this printer with a Mac? Can we print from Quark or PDF files directly? Are there drivers available for Mac?
These are the basic questions I need to resolve before accepting the equipment. Any help would surely be appreciated.Mahalo,

have you tried here for any info mate? i would imagine you will need some form of RIP software yes…
