I have just got a second hand Uniform Cadet 750c (i think) printer and am just about to set it up – i have installed Roland COLORIP 2.2 but I dont have the file for the cut line – where can i get this from?

Not tried connecting the printer yet as I’m waiting for someone to get back and give me a hand to get it into the office!

    thanks

You need to go to the Roland DG website, not the UK one though.
Click download then color and then select your printer SP300, it’ll show the downloads available.

    http://download.rolanddg.jp/en/color.html#sp300

That link should take you to the download section for the older SP300, it has the windows driver, colorip 2.2 and versaworks updates, plus the firmware update may be a good one to apply when you get the printer up and running.

I would imagine you can fit a network card if the printer doesn’t already have one fitted. Most large format printers have the option to connect to a network.

okay – so i have the printer in the office and have it installed on the computer.

when i ‘rip and print’ it sends to the printer but i get a ‘connection lost’ error but the print heads move accross the vinyl and dump a bit of random ink. anyone got any ideas?
