Does anybody know of any service engineers in the midlands area, we are Nottingham.

Would appreciate any online help, but I am very limited with knowledge on this machine, and don’t want to risk making anything worse.

    Thanks

    CMYK setup.
The yellow is not printing at all!

Have done all the cleans etc…

If there are no nozzles at all, it could be the slider board.

Sounds like an engineers job to me?

If it’s not printing any yellow at all, try pulling one of the yellows out and running a fillup in. If that doesn’t fix it, try doing a fillup with the cartridge plugged back in and the other one pulled out. The M6 valves on DX5 based Mimaki’s are prone to cracking and letting air in. Quite a cheap fix, but also a tad fiddly.

I’m in central Birmingham at the moment but installing a great big UV printer and not going anywhere until Friday I’m afraid.
