  • Semi-Rigid PVC for Latex – help please?

Posted by James Culpin on 18 May 2015 at 14:49

Has anyone found a Semi-Rigid material that likes to be printed on on Latex?
Current materials don’t like the heat kicked out by the Latex

Having to run a second printer for this one material is not practical.
Thanks in advance for your help

What kind of semi-rigid material do you mean? For what use?

    Peter,

These are prints for display purposes that go into frames or clips. Hope this helps.

Sort of like a poster in a clip frame? If you’re after something more rigid than poster paper, we’ve used either roller banner stock, or even pop-up banner stock which is a lot more rigid and holds colours really well.

Other than that, could you not print on to vinyl and mount that on to a more rigid material?

    Peter,
Have done this by applying a vinyl to a second material. this bumps the price up though.
Could really do with something that i can put directly through the Latex
    Thank you though
