  • Sealing vinyl edges on windows (stop vandals picking off)

Posted by Neil English on 23 June 2010 at 12:28

    Hello,

Can anyone suggest a varnish or similar, to seal the edges of vinyl lettering applied to windows?

We have recently done a job in a school and want to protect the lettering from being picked off by the children.

    Thankyou

    Neil

    Hi!

3M vinyl sealer. It comes in a tin with brush attached to lid, also in stick pen form. Quite expensive tho!

Personally, if possible why not cover the complete area in which lettering was applied with clear laminate/vinyl?

Kids will find a way to get through anything we can produce! I’ve got two, I no!!!
