Scottish lion rampant flag & forth rail bridge
Posted by Julie Hunter on 26 October 2006 at 09:46Hi, looking for vectors of both the red and yellow lion rampant flag and a simple forth rail bridge. Have looked everywhere but to no avail..

Julie, try this for starters…

and navigate to flags; Scotland. Scroll down and you will find some flags that I think will do.
Cheers

Cool, found the flag! Cheers gareth, thanks for your help. ! Just need the forth rail bridge now.

I’ll eat my hat if anybody ‘finds’ a simple forth rail bridge vector. And it’s a big hat too, some might describe it as a very large sombrero.

Think you may just be right. Worth a try. Hope your not, even if it just to see some hat eating! lol

Can you not find a photo of the Forth bridge on the net, print it, copy it by sticking the picture to a window and taping a piece of white paper over it, then trace just the bridge itself using a fine-point black marker?
Then scan it and clean the nodes in your design program.
There…something you did yourself!
love….Jill
PS
The regular bridge is gonna be easier than the train bridge! -
I suppose I could give that a go. Was looking for a ‘quick fix’. That way seems really complicated.
The rail bridge is more of a local landmark than the road bridge although your right, it is less complicated!
One of the local transport companies wants to name their tractor units from local landmarks. Might end up just getting the pictures printed anyway depending on what other landmarks he wants.
