    Hi can any one help will 7 yr vinyl stand up to sand blasting thanks

    Only if you leave it on for an extra 7 years.
    then nothing including nuclear weapons will get the stuff off.

    however sandblast film does funnily enough. :lol1:

    That depends if you are pressure blasting or suction blasting. Blasting in a cabinet with a suction gun say on to glass you would get away with it, I have, but if you are pressure blasting say to do a wood sign, you need blasting vinyl, as Steve says.

    As Dave says, it depends what pressure you are working at. I regularly blast glass using 7 year material and also 10 year cast. Most of the time I use glass bead as media but i do, on occasions, use a sand type media without problem, but I rarely go above 50psi.
    I have successfully worked onto slate with sand without loosing the mask and that was closer to 100psi.
    Simple answer is try it.
