I have often wondered how much ink is left in the cartridges when the printer says they need changing.

The Peck utility was run on my machine and within the details are the current cartridge stats showing the ink used so far. Below is the section showing that the machine has used 447cc’s of Cyan from a 440 cartridge

I have always felt that because it has vertical cartridge loading that it uses pretty much all the ink and this tends to verify my thinking.

It would be interesting if others have those stats to see how much ink has been used before changing them.

    Neil

I’ll check this out on my vs640 when I’m changing next. Expecting the cyan and magenta to empty out next week

Thanks Andy. It will be interesting to see if the how much better if any the vertical cartridge setup is over the horizontal. Yours should be similar to mine I would expect.

I checked before I actually did the change of cartridge because it gets reset with the next one.
