Thanks for the quick response Dave, just searched through google and it seems to be an issue with the wipers, we routinely clean this machine and I have a new set of spare wipers.

It did make a clicking noise when I turned it on, so I am assuming it caught one of the wipers on the way back, just cleaning again now, will post back asap.

Okay, it seems to be fine now, just ran some test prints and still okay, not the message you really want to see on your machine, I was just about to run some wraps today to give us a bit more time in the week.

    Thanks

    hi mate
sounds like your on the right path it is a wiper protection error
even though the machine carries out the regular movement, the output of the wiper origin sensor does not reach the expected value.
    things that could be wrong:
disorder of the wiper origin sensor
    fault of the wiper unit
    fault of the origin sensor
cut-line or short of cable and flexible cable.

what might need to be done
    wiper origin motor replacement
    or wiper unit replacement
    or wiper origin sensor replacement
or cable and flexible cable replacement

dont think for one moment i am a techy just copied it
    hope it helps

    derek

Thanks Derek, I think I’ll give signmaster a ring in the morning anyway and report it.
