Roland Versa Camm 540: Wont make a cut line, need help
When using a illustrator file with a placed image, a transparent psd file, the software wont recognize the cut line. take out the image and it works. File is not corrupt used other images to try and see if that was issue. anyone got any ideas.

If I flatten it I will have the white background in the file, which I dont want. EPS files with transparentcy on it is not clean enough… What options do you have for me…

i meant that the cut path is on another layer the fact the bitmap is layered but sits in one layer in ills.

i use transparent tiffs and a cut path within corel seams to work ok.
are you using versa or colour ripchris

Versa. Whats Colour rip…? I use plain .psd files transparent. never get the cut lines to look all that hot.always have a small bit of white somewhere.

versa works is a later rip to colour rip.
does the cut path show up on the versa preview screen
