Hiya, after using my Roland sp300 for over 6 years and doing all the maintenance myself (head change etc)I now find that I have a problem with my mainboard (not fuses ) we have sent it for repair in the USA to a firm who specialise in printer repairs but they only think we have a 50/50 chance of success,as anybody had there mainboard fixed and where they successful for you ? We really do hope they can fix this for us soon as we have 2 new ish Printheads in our printer & they are drying up. Thanks for your time..Darrell

can you not source from the likes of digiprint or a uk mainland company?
your leaving yourself wide open to problems sourcing overseas unless your willing to gamble, or your damn good at fixing your own machines. 😀

I have used macmedia very good service although it was only something to do with the solder on the fuses that was my problem sent it to them using parcelforce worldwide they have a next day option which i used but it didn’t arrive next day so i made a claim and got a full refund (£50)

They seem pretty clued up and send it back by fedex i think it was about a week from the day i sent it to the day i had it back.

Worth a try cause a new main board is a lot of cash if they can’t fix it the may be able to offer you a second hand unit.

Thanks Graeme,I’m just happy to hear that someone was successful.we have had the board returned to us only to find it still didn’t work so we sent it back and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it on a bench test,so they installed it to a printer & have now found something, not sure what yet as we are waiting for a reply this week but they are only 50/50 if it can be done cuz it maybe a chip 🙁 I’m hoping someone on here can tell where I could get a 2nd hand board in the uk but I think this would be a long shot.. Thanks again,,Darrell
