hi there. no its just the pro2 – print&cut Sc 540. is there any major difference between the Pro 2 & the Pro 2 EX

I have the 540ex. Fantastic machine. Upgraded to the techink bulk system too. Can not wipe the smile off my face!! :lol1:

hi
the pro 2 is sol ink no heater must use coated material.
the EX uses eco sol inks with a heater and prints on to standard uncoated materials with varying results some suberb and quite resiliant.
my sol 2 was upgraded to EX 12 months ago and well worth it.
upgrade = new heater bed and ink change roland will swop out unused carts to the eco sol inkchris

my mistake 😳 my roland pro 2 has a heat bed & uses eco sol ink but i didnt know it was the pro 2 ex.

The roland in my pic held 6 cartridges. Our new machine holds 12. I really cant fault the quality & speed etc. Just a few teething problems when it 1st arrived. 😉

If you upgrade this as I have to the Techink bulk system true solvent inks, the scratch resistance make this machine even more impressive.
cheers
