The black head has likely had a knock and it’s been whacked out of position at a guess as not familiar with this printer.

Run a set of head alignment tests to be sure.

    yellow too…
quite a few out of alignment.

headstrikes are the likely cause but thats a big strike

What rip are you using? I experienced similar problems and solved it with 2 things…. a full maintenence clean on the heads using cleaning fluid etc (took me a good hour or so to do it properly) wipers, capping stations etc etc (the dragging on the edge of the black gives that away) and also I had my rip profile set to max impact which always messed with the colours especially the whites.

    BUT!
2 things more, can you post a copy of the eps file so i can have a test to see if there is something in the file that may be awry and……. what happens on a test print? Full test print and normal nozzle check print? if you could post those here too that may give a better indication

I had previously posted a thank you but it isnt here!
I take it it was removed as I referred to being on a waiting list with Roland to call me back for 18 months for my last issue.

    anyway thanks again

Sorry Craig, but i have just checked.
You have had two posts moved dating back to november 2011.

both them broke board rules as you were looking for files and also trying to sell a printer. both in the wrong forum because your membership status did not allow access.

i am not sure what you are insinuating, but if you have a genuine gripe with a supplier, regardless to who the supplier is. your post will NOT be removed.

for the record: we do not delete posts, we simply move them out of sight and can recal any or all if need be.

i hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

    best regards
